"Volcan Masaya"
The artwork for this print was done using watercolor and ink on paper.
I used to live very close to this volcano...no more than 3 miles and I would get very unsettle by the tales about the Volcano exploding every X amount of years. I am 48 years old already and still waiting...or better yet, HOPING it stays the same for another 500 years.
All visitors can attest to the beauty of the place and the feeling of smallness co close to one of earth open chambers, I hope I capture a little bit of the feeling with the colors and the intrinsic detail and texture.
DETAILS
-Carefully reproduced print of an original painting
-60 lb Polar Matte smooth paper + Claria Photo Hi Definition 6 color, dye based ink. This will have colors popping up and print lasting a very long time
-hand-cut, printed and packaged with care in our studio
-frame not included
-archival ink lasting up to 200 years
PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
* Size 11x14 or under: Sealed in an eco-friendly, compostable cello sleeve made of plant fibers with thick backing cardboard and mailed in a non-bend envelope.
* Size 13x19 wrapped in tissue paper and rolled within a tube.
