As a creator, I've always put a lot of thought into becoming a conscious consumer and creative. So when I was invited to participate in Maryland's incubator of entrepreneurs*, I jumped at the chance of creating a display that represented just that - an entrepreneurial and creative spirit. I had a couple of wooden art panels that I painted over a year ago during an insomnia-fueled creative spree that I yet to put to good use. My idea was 50% there, I knew that I wanted to incorporate these in the display but I was missing the most important part: how to do so. Around the same time, Guillermo, aka Violet Red Studio's official delivery boy (and husband!), was outside working on building wood cubes to use as bookshelves in our living room. BINGO!  Idea bulb lit. Other 50% found. And so, our display tables were born.

Stop by Rockville Town Square to check out the new space and meet other Maryland creatives. We're looking forward to meet you!!!!!
