When one thinks of the world and the people around us, the thought is almost always the same: we are different. True, there's an infinite amount of things that sets us apart from each other. The way we think and speak, all the way up to the way we dress.

When one thinks of the world and the people around us, the thought is almost always the same: we are different. True, there's an infinite amount of things that sets us apart from each other. The way we think and speak, all the way up to the way we dress.

The experiences that each human has had to endure are unique in nature, even when they are the same in practice. However different we are, one thing remains true: we are all connected.

During times when I need to drift away and clear my head, I'll find myself doodling shapes made out of circles and lines. The circles represent a cycle, and the lines, the flow of connecting one thing with another. One connection leads to another.

Milan Kundera once said that nostalgia is the suffering caused by an unappeased yearning to return. This quote is one of many that inspired my newest collection. For me, the yearning to return is a circle and has become a big part of who I am.

All of us experience a yearning to return to the things with which we connected at any given point. Be it a fruit, a place, or a soulmate.  We try to protect that connection, to maintain it. To restore it when it is lost. As we yearn these connections, they also lead us to others.

Inspired by this, We Are All Connected, is a unique and original limited edition art collection. Though every piece is different, it's connected.
